Case Presentation: Brachytherapy to Treat Recurrent Brain Metastasis

Dr. Michael Lim, director of the Johns Hopkins Metastatic Brain Tumor Center, discusses a case of a female patient with metastatic breast cancer. The patient had surgery and a radiosurgery boost, and did well. However a year later, the tumor recurred. Dr. Lim treated the patient with surgery to resect the tumor and inserted brachytherapy radiation seeds.
