Pali Shah, MD
Associate Medical Director, Lung Transplant
Dr. Pali Dedhiya Shah is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include critical care medicine, lung transplant and pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. Dr. Shah serves as the associate medical director of the Lung Transplant Program at Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Shah earned her M.D. from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. She completed her residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and performed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins. Dr. Shah joined the Johns Hopkins faculty as an assistant professor of medicine in 2011.
Her research interests include chronic rejection in lung transplants and quality and safety in lung transplants.
Dr. Shah is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the International Society for Heart & Lung Transplantation.
