R. Jay Lee, MD
R. Jay Lee, M.D. specializes in pediatric sports medicine for children, adolescents and young adults with a wide range of orthopaedic and sports medicine issues. His areas of clinical interest include the treatment of sports-related injuries, including knee, shoulder, elbow, ankle, and hip issues.
Dr. Lee's expertise and research interests include growth plate sparing ACL reconstruction, complex ligament reconstruction in growing patients, and optimizing fracture care.
Dr. Lee completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was a team physician for the Orioles. He completed his fellowship in pediatric orthopaedics at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, with a special focus on pediatric sports medicine. Dr. Lee joined the Johns Hopkins Department of Orthopaedic Surgery's Division of Pediatric Orthopaedics as an Assistant Professor.
