David M. Rubenstein Precision Medicine Center of Excellence

Since 2015, research about hearing and hearing loss has benefited from generous financial support provided by the David M. Rubenstein Precision Medicine Center of Excellence, within the Johns Hopkins Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. Noteworthy research initiatives include developing magnetic nanoparticles for drug delivery, demonstrating that genetically enhanced efferent feedback can slow age-related hearing loss, and much more.

Some researchers supported by the David M. Rubenstein Precision Medicine Center of Excellence discuss the progress they have made in advancing the field of hearing and hearing loss research
