Heather Di Carlo, director of pediatric urology research, discusses a new study on the urothelial differences between patients with bladder exstrophy and patients without this condition. Researchers at Johns Hopkins are currently working to identify the important differences, in hopes of providing future therapeutic interventions for patients.
