Utilization of Large Language-model Chatbot to Identify Congenital Glaucoma from Other Ocular Etiologies

Pediatric ophthalmologist Courtney Kraus and pediatric ophthalmology resident Nur Cardakli discuss their research suggesting that parents exercise caution using internet-based tools to triage medical conditions. The research team developed a series of questions regarding common signs and symptoms of congenital glaucoma and queried them to ChatGPT version 3.5. In this video, the doctors discussed their findings from this research. This topic was presented during the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology 2024 Meeting.
