Case Presentation: Resection of a Large Cerebillopontine Angle Meningioma via the Retrosigmoid Approach

Neurosurgeon Raj Mukherjee discusses the case of a patient in their 70s, diagnosed with a meningioma resulting from radiation treatment for a previous condition. The tumor was pressing on the patient’s cerebellum and brainstem, causing gross confusion and difficulty walking. Dr. Mukherjee successfully completed a left-sided restrosigmoid craniotomy to remove the tumor in full. The patient is now back to daily life — symptom-free.
