Pediatric clinical pharmacy specialist Taylor Imburgia discusses Special Teams: Maximizing the Role of the Cystic Fibrosis Pharmacist, which she presented during the 2023 North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference. Her talk took place during a session titled What’s the Play, Coach? The Pharmacy Team Playbook for Cystic Fibrosis. The goal of her presentation was to discuss the traditional roles described in the literature for cystic fibrosis pharmacists and the novel roles that pharmacists may be able to take on in the era of highly effective CFTR modulator therapies.
